279 Finchley Road, Camden

The Finchley Road and St John's Wood station was opened on the site in 1868, comprising two platforms and a passenger entrance directly on to the west side of Finchley Road. In 1905 the Midland Railway redeveloped the entrance to provide seven shops/offices in a semi circle around the station entrance which became known as Midland Crescent. Today, the site has a great location close to two Overground/Underground stations and the O2 shopping/leisure centre. We are drawing up plans to redevelop the site with a mix of uses.

Summary:

  • Former rail station development site.
  • Suitable for student accommodation.
  • Active commercial frontage.
  • Studio and workspace units considered.
